Approximately 1–3 weeks after the order is placed, depending on the project and delivery location. Most projects are generally around two weeks, but we use the 1–3 week range to allow for project, location, and logistics variables.
How to Measure
Getting Us Your Space
You don’t need to be a kitchen designer to get started — a simple drawing, a few photos, or numbers scribbled on a notepad is enough for us to begin. Your design consultant confirms every measurement before anything is finalized.
Before you start: Record every measurement in inches, using exact fractions or decimals — never round. Write clearly enough that someone else could read the numbers back to you, and have one person do all the measuring and recording, so nothing gets counted twice or skipped.
Measure Each Wall
Start at any corner and measure each wall to the next, all the way around the room, so we have the full outline. Write each measurement directly on your sketch. Record the ceiling height from the finished floor up to the ceiling, and note any soffit or drop-down section.
Note Appliance Locations & Sizes
Refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and sink — measure each one’s width, height, and depth. A manufacturer spec sheet works too. Note each appliance’s location and tell us if anything is being moved.
Mark Windows & Doors
Note the width and height of each window, how high it sits from the floor, and its distance from the nearest corner. Do the same for doors and openings, including the direction a door swings when helpful.
Take Photos From a Few Angles
Take wide shots of the whole room plus close-ups of anything unusual — angled walls, low ceilings, plumbing, appliances, or obstacles. A walkthrough video is also a helpful supplement to your measurements.
Send What You Have
A hand-sketched drawing is enough to start. Photograph or scan it along with your room photos, appliance specifications, and anything else that helps us understand your project.
Draw Your Room
This is the main thing we need: a simple floor plan with your measurements written directly on the drawing. It doesn’t need to be perfectly to scale — just sketch the shape of the room and clearly label the measurements, openings, and appliance locations. Your project design coordinator confirms everything before it’s finalized or ordered.
Walls
Draw the room outline and write each wall length directly along the corresponding wall.
Windows
Show where each window is and write its important measurements nearby.
Doors & Openings
Show where each opening is and its applicable width and location measurements.
Appliances
Show the sink, refrigerator, range, and dishwasher, noting existing and desired locations where necessary.
